My pleasure. You should be fine. I actually forgot. My brother in law ordered a refurbished iPhone 4 a while back and although it looked berand new, it would not connect to the network. We called at&t and they could not figure it out and blamed it on the phone, which was actually correct. They then suggested we buy a second phone from them and that they would refund the m...

Buying the same product twice, that's the kind of business model that makes the shareholders happy. For those who think they are sticking it to AT&T by buying an unlocked phone, just remember if you wanted AT&T to unlock it so you could take it overseas, you weren't go...

Things can change on a dime as we all know, but I can tell you this. I spoke to the office of the president of at&t wireless today and I can tell you that at&t has no intention of unlocking any iphones. Now, my particular situation overseas, which I have never explained on this forum, is a case where my phone being able to roam freely on a wireless network is more a matte...

Trust me, you are WAY better off buying the full priced unlocked iPhone directly from Apple. It is a one time extra expendature, but it can seriously save you money down the road depending on your usage and if you travel overseas. I learned the hard way that it is okay to use their service as a last resort, like if you have a grandfathered unlimited data plan, but it is a...

He is looking to make calls without a data plan. Edge speeds wouldn't make a difference to him.

I believe you can unlock the phone and do what you are asking using t-mobile. Give them a call to confirm though.

Nothing needs to be based on "secret information", and nothing I say is based off said information. I stated the logic in plain english. In another thread, I even discussed a phone call that came into my office from a verizon representative looking to either leak or aquire information. Their motive could not be determined, but their idea was fantastic. You'll have to look ...

There is no more due diligence I can do aside from actually using their edge network EVERY DAY on the iPad with HEAVY usage. Like I said, it is a little slower, but it is far less expensive if you use it a lot than one of at&t's plans. Therefore, MORE DATA for LESS COST. Simple enough for you? Also, don't just assume the sale of T-Mobile to at&t is such a simple thing. Th...

I'd try to not use it with at&t in the US if you find an acceptable alternative. go ahead, use it with T-Mobile - you would be better off going with the verizon iphone, cheaper then 650/750 and the same type of limited edge service capabilitie...

No, I think this is valid for the forum. People should know who they are dealing with, and this level of service is par for at&t. You should dispute the charge and go buy an unlocked iphone from apple for that price.
