I've used an Infuse with GoPhone since November. Just bought one for my wife, too. Everything works. If it's AT&T branded, you don't even need to unlock it. Since AT&T did away with data for 10 cent/min customers, I'll be switching to H2O Wireless (I have my SIM card; just waiting to use up my existing minutes/data). The Infuse should also work with them, too.

I guess if someone is willing to pay $30/month to T-MO, then I don't see why this change is such a big deal. Those of us who were able to use GoPhone w/data for $8.33/month (or $10.41/month, since many of us started with $25 of data to roll over) are the ones who really got screwed here. The GoPhone refill websites already have the new data rates listed; and they also say that only monthly customers are eligible. Yet I was able to just buy 50MB for $5. Are existing 10cent/min customers grandfathered into data eligibility; or will I be screwed out of my existing data in a few days?

Check your billing history online. It's possible that E911 charges were deducted. I know that caught me by surprise on my GoPhone.

Wild Banchi wrote: You could always check Criagslist for your local area to see if there are any Infuses available for sale. I traded my iPod Touch for my iPhone from a seller that contacted me via e-mail who replied my trade listing. A couple days later, we both had a new toy. I just bought a used Infuse online today from Cowboom for under $200. Appears to be their regul...

When buying a data package for a Go Phone, is it possible to pay using the balance in your account, or do you have to buy the features on top of whatever you pay for airtime. For example, if I activate a phone using a $100/365-day card, can I buy a data package using that $100, or do I have to purchase the data separately via credit card? On a related note, is it even a r...
