The only ones that can fix ping and latency is AT&T. So far they will not budge on the issue no matter what. They know their switches get bottlenecked, but they are not willing to do anything about it. DSL is being left behind to focus solely on wireless. Trouble is anything to do with AT&T wireless is just about as bad as DSL. Its all bad! Everyone I know that uses ANY k...

You're barking up the wrong tree. Why are you asking AT&T about a javascript programming goof that is causing errors on someone elses website? Ask Amazon, not AT&T.

You wont get any answers or help in this so called "AT&T support forum" (go figure). You will only see moderators moving threads around for so called "better exposure" and questions never get answered there either except for an occasional canned response that has nothing to do with fixing your problem. Sad but true. AT&T in all their glory taking your money but giving you...

Try using the same outgoing server as the incoming (non ATT) on port 587 with no encryption. AT&T email is as useless as the DSL. It constantly acts up.

What exactly is the purpose of this Internet "support" forum when there is absolutely no "support" to be found? A gazillion problem posts and complaints and AT&T simply ignores every one of them. So this place is a joke, right? Especially the following: Hello AT&T Community Members: We’re glad you’re here! Please take a moment to notice the recent updates to our community...

This is a support forum, but out of the gazillion problems and complaints here, few are responded to with anything other than "call a rep" as the solution. AT&T, if you are going to provide a support forum then how about getting off your bums and actually provide some for a change? Help YOUR CUSTOMERS for a change rather than just milking them for more revenue from more c...

Good post Lee_Dailey , I cant help but wonder what Alexander would feel about all this. AT&T wrote the book on how to screw people and the telephone had barely advanced from inception only a few years before the pen started spreading ink. I find it pretty amazing that anyone in 1907 was that intelligent to already know exactly how to screw people (starting with antitrust ...

Id give anything to have SBC back. The day AT&T took over, was the beginning of the end of Internet service where I live, and sounds like alot of other locations too.

Receiving the email talked about changes to the TOS. Reading the entire TOS there is only one small 3 line paragraph concerning "usage". It states nothing informative whatsoever and the link it contains for supposed information is dead. The TOS for new accounts states absolutely nothing about the upcoming cap, so new customers are buying blind into the service. I truely f...

The answer to the problem is not to bail and go elsewhere, the answer is to stand your ground and fight. AT&T sold more DSL accounts than their network can handle. Guess what? They're still selling them to anyone willing to pay!!!!!!! Even when their network is known to be overloaded, AT&T will sign you up for a new DSL account without batting an eye. Then they start limi...

I wouldnt be holding my breath. You're not missing out on much either. Sat Internet is sucky, but it beats dialup by a long shot. Bite the bullet and forget ATT. If you do get Sat make sure and visit the Sat forums for tips and tweaks that will make it bearable at least.

Heres the deal. AT&T knowingly oversold their DSL network and is now supposedly congested. AT&T cannot/will not provide advertised speeds but are still charging the same full rates for DSL service. Now they intend to put a monthly cap on DSL users so as to "ease congestion". Thing is, you can still use all the bandwidth you want, it will just cost you more. How does this ...
