UPDATE... Reports are coming in over at Crackberry that AT&T is finally pushing MM out to their Privs. Reminder, only those with AT&T sims on the AT&T network will get the update OTA. Those of you with unlocked AT&T branded Privs on another network will still not get it. However, the autoloader from BlackBerry is already available. https://bbapps.download.blackberry.com/P...

And that 500k is total sales. How much of that pie is just AT&T? I'm thinking... much less than half that.

What phone do you have, and how old is it? Just how, exactly, do you know they are actually being "read" and "downloaded"? Something getting deleted, I suppose, is something you would notice, but that could be caused by any number of things. Faulty memory chip, a setting limiting how much is saved on the phone, a buggy OS. Again, it would help to know what kind of phone y...

That's because AT&T hasn't officially released Marshmallow for the Priv yet. So, there is no Marshmallow for you to get. The only updates have been security updates to the current Lollipop. And, I think the May update was the last one AT&T pushed.

@lizdance40 is correct. You needed the STL100-3 variant of the Z10 to be compatible with all the AT&T LTE bands. That was the model made for all of North America and the one AT&T sold. Otherwise, there's nothing you can do. The actual hardware (the physical chips inside the phone itself) determines what bands/frequecies you get on the phone.

Not with its locked bootloader, and hardware that checks for specific BlackBerry signed OS files. Besides, with the bounty over at the XDA forums for rooting the Priv since release going unclaimed to this day... I think that tells you something. Not solved.

BlackBerry just released the Beta version of Marshmallow for the AT&T Priv. You have to be signed up for the BB Beta Zone to get the invite, but it is out there. https://beta.webapps.blackberry.com/login/?cont=portals&act=index&item= "Beta Update #6 Available for AT&T Testers - Today we're welcoming hundreds of AT&T-variant PRIV owners to the community as they receive the...

You can't... right now. BlackBerry knows about the issue. http://support.blackberry.com/kb/articleDetail?articleNumber=000038204&language=English However, rIght now, there is no way to get any update on an AT&T branded Priv - even though it is unlocked - unless you have an active AT&T SIM and are on the network in the U.S . Even with that, you'd only get what AT&T lets yo...

You have to have an active AT&T SIM and must be on the AT&T network - meaning, working in the U.S. There's no other way around it - besides, AT&T hasn't even release Marshmallow for the Priv yet, so even if you had what you needed, you still won't get it. At least not at the moment. The only other option you may have, when AT&T does decide to release Marshmallow, is hope ...

Also, if you saw how much it is for each device to tie into that unlimited pool, you might think otherwise. Believe me, it's set up so they still make a lot of extra money off of those "unlimited" users.

@ATTMobilityCare , guess what? T-Mobile is allowing the Marshmallow beta on their phones. These are not just factory unlocked ShopBB, or Amazon phones, but actual T-Mobile branded phones. Seems it can be done. Hmmm.

Oh, come on. You know it's AT&T that drives this ship. It's always AT&T that holds their BlackBerry customers hostage over OS updates. They never allowed the BB10 OS betas on AT&T phones (of course, that didn't stop me when they leaked out). And AT&T won't even update the current BB10 phones to the latest BB10 OS that the rest of the world has, while the AT&T official is ...
