Make it a homerun to a dedicated jack. You will only use 1 pair (green---more twist per foot) At the NID connect it to the EBN. Green to RING--R--, green/white to TIP--T--. At the dedicated jack, connect the green/greenwhite to the red and green on the wallplate. GREEN(CAT5) TO RED on plate-----GREEN/WHITE(CAT5) TO GREEN on plate. There is your jack for the modem. Dont co...

You dont have good connections somewhere. Check all coax ends at all boxes, wallplates, splitters, diplexer(if equipt), and make sure they are all tight. It could be a bad splitter or end. A tech may be needed to replace all the connectors/splitters with new ones (ATT approved). The system is very finiky and will fail on the boxes if everything isnt perfect. Proper commun...

When you use HDMI,I believe it trumps all other outputs, Therefore the TV in the living room will not have a picture. We tested using the component, composite, s-video, and coax at the same time. When we plugged in the HDMI all the pictures went black. Then tried coax only, plugged in HDMI, black again. Try with a short HDMI first before you spend any extra money.

No. Holding down the reset button on the back of the RG and allowing the RG to start from scratch. Takes a while to come back up due to updates, but its actually only about 5-6 min at most.

The issue is recent. Reseting mine was the only way to get the rest of my devices online.(6 of them). My neighbor had the problem at the same time.(5 devices) Softbooting did nothing. Factory reset took care of it. At least it gives the previous posters two options. The PT that I talked to was aware of this and it was the fix while waiting on an update. They were told not...

Right now there is a known issue with connecting 3 or more wireless devices. Almost 100% of the time a factory reset will fix this. A fix is in the works, but no release date as of yet. Hold the reset button down on the back till it reboots. I had this problem over the weekend and this fixed it.

How old is your install? When did you notice the issues?(after a storm?) Is it a cat5 install or coax? I agree to check all connectors including at any splitters and at the RG.

go into the wireless settings of the RG. 192.168.1.254. Enable MAC address filtering.(need passcode on side of RG....not wireless key) Add MAC address of phone. The MAC address will save on the right. Highlight and arrow over to allowed list on left. Make sure you save. Then you can connect the 3GS after putting in the wireless key.

Yes. One of the firmware updates enabled the button. Before the update it was non-functional.

Take a device, that has not been configured for wireless, to the RG (must be no more that 10 feet away). Push the button then you can connect without entering the wireless key.
