Ok, well when i select it, the quality improves on the menu, but when watching a channel, it wont take the full screen anymore, only the middle part of the monitor.

Well, right now I'm on the mobile version, so I can't, but I found out that in aspect ratio, it shows like that for widescreen, and the two hd, 720 and 180i or something But, when I use the ratio 4:3, the first one, it uses the whole screen

Ok, well i did it, i used a hdmi to dvi cable for connecting the stb to monitor, then got an audio cable to connect it to the computer, in the line in jack. the only problem is that it wont be shown in full screen, only a portion of the screen is used.

Ok, a couple of questions Do you happen to know if theres a difference in vga and dvi in terms of quality in computers? Also, for the audio, can i use my own computer speakers? Finally, what does it mean when it says HDCP ready for the video card and monitor? Thank you for your time.

No, the monitor does not support HDMI, and I don't think Component (idk what that is) it only support DVI and VGA

Well, the only ones I have are display, hdmi, and dvi ports, and I'm not even sure if there input or output, (not really sure what that means) I'm guessing output sends the image, not receives it, so then I can't connect it to the monitor?
