Sure you can - go into Settings then choose Cellular Turn off the "Data Connection" option.

I have a T-Mo US branded HD7 working just fine on AT&T. Sorry redpoint73, but your information about 3G is incorrect - the HD7 is a quad-band phone that operates on 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900. I popped out my TMo SIM, put in the AT&T sim and without even running the Connection setup app the 3G came right up and I was able to surf the web and connect to my email accounts. Edi...
