International Exynos based S3 has quad A9's and the Mali GPU. American Qualcomm based S3 has dual Krait A15's and Adreno 225 GPU. some think the daul core is better than the quad, also some say the adreno 225 is old and slower than the mali. the Gpu might be a bigger difference than the cores

Ever heard of trouble with selling the upgrade phone, say on eBay? What I am looking at is getting a phone then sell to buy unlocked phone not sold through at&t. Any examples of phones with that security feature?

I own an X10a on at&t and I am running 2.3.4 gingerbread. If you are like me your $499 phone was free w/at&t contract. If you haven't found XDA forums website yet, find it. Root, unbrand have fun, enjoy your phone. My X10 is running a version of Sony's NXT S phone software called X10S by championswimmer from XDA. Has all new SONY(not SE) apps in it. Also I have unlocked m...

Rooting opens the eyes of your phone to what it can be. Rooting your phone only changes the permissions in your phone to super user( what the developers use). To root you have to flash a ROM package to your phone, if all you do is root then hard bricking your device is very, very, very unlikely (like winning lottery). Usually rooting and un-rooting are a simple button in ...

I just found out that SONY started to roll out ICS to its 2011 devices(XPERIA PLAY for at&t). Also the 2012 line -up of NXT phones will have gingerbread at launch and upgrade after 2011 versions. So the 2011 phones will have ICS before the 2012 phones do.

Unfortunately the firmware/android version that AT&T MAKES YOU USE is the BLOATWARE. AT&T likes to handcuff their phones to lesser software, causing you to just upgrade to a new contract/phone. They also integrate AT&T apps into the firmware so you can't un-install them. No matter what phone you have chances are there is a way to put your phone manufactures stock ( or a c...

Have you fixed this? Try erasing data for the app in settings/applications/manage apps. Are you still on at&t stock firmware? Have you looked into rooting? After root you can un/re-install all apps on the phone. Also after root you can get gingerbread upgrade for flash support (netflix).

Absolutely yes. I used the find available networks options in settings- wireless settings- mobile networks, to find at&t/at&tdr. Then the phone did the rest. Since then I used the XDA flashtool to root, to get rid of more junk taking up space. Read up on flashing your Rom(debranding) on the XDA forum. {content removed} this is a link the flashtool guide

I have noticed some changes to the way the posts are displayed. Is there anyway to change from having to click on every individual post in a topic? I really like being able to open a topic and have all posts/replys be displayed in order of date. could it be just a setting to change? this format makes it real hard to follow a topic from start to end when you have to click ...
