@ hflima Did you use the fix by Brent Zaniewski from the link you posted? "AT&T Samsung Captivate Software Update Server Error Fix." If so, did it work for you & was it worth losing the Data you permanently deleted?

I agree with ConsumerDave regarding remarks made by JFizDaWiz and Ann154 - Wow! Too many snide remarks for a community seeking assistance. I am also in agreement that AT&T should monitor the community, so they can get an idea of what their consumers issues are and perhaps lend some assistance. According to the Galaxy Tech, the Captivate has the 2.1 platform which means the current flash player isn't compatible with streaming Internet videos - and that I would need to wait until the 2.2 update. And of course I would have to wait until AT&T sent an update notification regarding such. Seriously, for this to be a high-end (& I don't just mean it's over the top pric...
