5 days after being installed my NVG589 is rebooting up to 3x per hour. It has the internal battery as I have UVerse voice. Is the device failing? When it reboots all three of my services are interrupted.

Did you ever get this resolved? My 2-wire RG was replaced with a NVG589 because of white noise on the voice service 5 days ago and starting last night it has been rebooting almost hourly. This is disruptive to all three services. Thanks, J

It varies from city to city. Chicago charges $2.70 (approx) per month. When I first got my goPhone it had a chicago prefix. I don't live in chicago, I don't work in chicago and I don't go into chicago. I called and they changed my phone number to a suburban frefix and my fee went down to about $0.60 per month. That said, they haven't charged me a 911 fee the last 3 months...

Unless of course the OP purchased the iPad from ATT and they put it on a Postpaid Plan like they did mine. It's near impossible to cancel since you can't create an online account from the iPad. I ended up going to an ATT store and the agent took over 1 hour on the phone with ATT to get my plan cancelled. GOOD LUCK

Just choose cancel but don't delete the account. That lets you run our the remaining data but stops the auto renew. Your account will automatically delete two months later if you don't sign up for a new plan before that.

I purchased a GoPhone for a specific need, it works perfectly. I am curious why it came with two SIM cards. I purchased the phone via the ATT.COM web site. The phone came with a SIM already installed and the the punch card had the hole in it where the SIM was originally. This is the SIM I am using and everything works just fine. BUT there was also another SIM card (not pu...

Press the HOME key twice quickly. All the tasks in memory are displayed in the bar at the bottom of the screen. The bar is scrollable left and right. Press and hold one of the icons and a "-" displayed on each icon which you can press to terminate each active task. J

Assuming you have an ATT PREpaid plan ... Login to: http://www.att.com/ipadlanding Use exactly the same email address and password you used on the iPad to establish data service. You can do everything from the web site you could do directly on the device including cancelling auto renew. When you cancel you have the option of also deleting your account. If you plan on reac...

You are correct. ATT doesn't do refunds even if you cancel a unused data plan before it takes effect. Trust me, I know. That said I've had decent luck with my 3G ATT iPad. Granted I don't always get 3G but it does fall back to Edge and that's works better than 1X. I'm in the midwest but have been doing some intercity travel of late. J

Both Edge/GPRS and domestic (withing the USA) roaming are covered by your prepaid plan. There is no reason to turn off Data Roaming unless you leave the country.
