Sorry couldn't find it earlier, but here is the information you wanted. What are Spam Controls? Spam Controls enable you to block unwanted messages. Spam Controls consist of two services, Call & Message Blocking and Internet Spam Controls. Verizon Wireless provides these free features to block certain phone numbers and Internet addresses from contacting you. And the link ...

No I don't. It's in our account tools when we log in. Can't link to that. I have one number blocked on my daughters line right now, and I'm not paying that $4.99 a month. In addition to the 5 phone numbers, we can block 15 email addresses.

As I said originally, yes there is the version that you can pay for that gives you more numbers, but Verizon gives you 5 FREE numbers.

Hate to burst your bubble, but Verizon does offer it for free. Yes there is a package that includes it, but if all you need is call blocking, then yes it is free. I had a person calling my daughters phone, even after being told she had the wrong number. Called Verizon and they suggested I just block the number, which is free for I think 5 numbers.

You can try to go through ATT and all you'll get is the run around. Best thing to do is go to the bank and tell them the 3rd 150 is an unauthorized charge and have them reverse it. It's the quickest way to get your money back.

Good for your bank. I'm glad they are getting things resolved for you.

Was this a debit card purchase? Was the debit card used as a credit card? You need to go to your bank and talk to them about it. You only have so long to dispute a transaction on your account. I'm guessing this was taken out of a checking/savings account rather than a charge on a regular credit card. Your bank is going to be your best bet to get this resolved.

Sounds like he did have a grandfathered unlimited plan, but ATT has decided to cancel the grandfathering and force everybody to a new plan. At least that's how I read what he wrote, if it's not, then not sure what he's complaining about.

Yeah sounds like they wanted to suspend service while they were out of the country. Bigger question is, they did this in April when they had 2 months left on their old contract. Why not just wait until you come back from overseas to sign a new contract.

She did test it for 30 days, found the service she was recieving acceptable. Now months later, something has changed and she's not getting the same service that she got in the first 30 days. Shouldn't ATT be required to provide the same level of service for the entire 2 years? I'm not talking about a temp service interruption that lasts a few days. This has been going on ...

Funny how they expect you to honor the contract you signed, yet they don't have to. I'd contact my states attorney generals office, see if there's anything they can do. You are paying for a service that they aren't providing.

Write your congressmen/senators in Washington, and let them know exactly how you feel about the government forcing you to a provider you didn't want and now won't let you take your number back. Probably get a faster answer than trying to go through the FCC.
