I haven't purchased the tablet yet. Why would I need a new SIM card if I already have a nano SIM card and adapters that came with the GoPhone SIM kit?

Is it possible to change mostly active prepaid phone number for a GoPhone to a prepaid tablet with a data plan? The line is mostly active because the funds expired just before Christmas, but number shouldn't be recycled yet. It doesn't get used much as a phone number so I was wondering how hard would it be to switch it to a tablet for cellular data. The line would likely b...

Are you sure the other carriers have those accessories with the phone? I was reading on the Verizon Wireless Community of a user complaining about the missing headphones.

I see replying from mobile (once the silly trick is figured out) also changes the subject line of the post. This basically makes it look like a new and separate discussion. That's not smart either.

One step forward and five steps backwards for the Lithium platform format. Functionality should not be sacrificed for a new coat of paint. That's exactly what happened to this forum.

Testing the post ability That's completely a stupid way to send a reply to a post. What if I want to add paragraphs to my post? Or are we going to be forced into creating walls of text? It is asinine!

This must have been a recent change. I remember trying to change a go phone plan online only about a month before your post.

It is a Nexus 7 2013 WiFi tablet, but the inability to post occurs on a Moto X too. The tablet is running Android 4.4.4 and I was using Chrome for the browser. The Moto X was running was Android 4.4.2 or 4.4.3 at the time I tried it over a month ago and I was using Chrome there too. I don't get any error. I touch the "post reply" to open the text box and I am able to type ...

It sure is pretty, but absolutely impossible to navigate and actually reply to posts on the mobile/tablet view of the site. I had to use IE to make this post.

It might be easier to read on a tablet, but it is absolutely impossible to reply to a post in the mobile format view the site defaults to on a tablet or android device. I had to sign into this site on a browser that forces the desktop version of this site and it finally looks like I might be able to reply to this thread. Whatever was does to this site as broken it for many...

You might not be able to use the Nokia smartphone on a pay-as-you-go plan, but you can use the $25 monthly plan with the data restricted to wifi only.

It sounds like you aren't eligible for an upgrade. You need to finish your current contract obligations before you are eligible for phone upgrade at the discounted price.

Check your power management settings. Menu > settings > power or battery. Not sure of the exact titles in the settings section of the Motorola phones, but I have read of others needing change a settings in this area.

hardhat harry wrote: Wingrider is correct, there is a preloaded FM radio app on the Inspire. Look in the alphabetical listing of apps, and it should be between FLASH PLAYER SETTINGS and FOOTPRINTS, and to use it, you must use a wired headset. Ditto on usung a wired headset. It is needed to act as the antenna.

I have an HTC phone, but not necessarily the HTC Inspire. Before I changed all my ringtones, I created a custom label for my Sound Set. So I still have the default listing available as an option. Ringtone = one with the carrier name Alarm = New Day Notification = Zeta Message = Gamma Email = Alpha Calendar = Epsilon

Try turning off the 3G mobile network connection overnight. Applications sync all the time in the background, email, calendar, market, etc.

Try a folder on the SD card with the path of /media/audio/ringtones. After moving your file to that location, reboot the phone to force a rescan of the SD card. Or you can give Ringdroid a try. It is available from the Android Market.

Change the wifi sleep policy to never or turn the 3G mobile network off when you will have the wifi connection on for an extended time. Go to settings > wireless & networks > wifi settings > menu > Advanced > wifi sleep policy > change to never

Sounds like you deleted the google widget. Long press on the screen in the place where you want the widget. An "Add" options menu will display, select widget and find the Google widget.

Maybe there is an error with the APN settings that you are using with the overseas SIM card. I'm not super familiar with this subject.

No most of the Android phones that I am familiar with don't have an option for a signature in the stock sms message application. HTC or Motorola are the ones I'm positive about. I'm less sure about Samsung, LG, and the other brands.
