Is there anything in particular different about the DVR's power cord compared to the other STBs?

It's actually more than a code. I had someone explain it to me. There's not enough areas on the DVR to store information from the other receivers. They don't have harddrives of there own.

You might try checking to see if the DNS Client is started in services.msc. That could cause problems finding a website for the computer. Definitely a networking issue. Your best bet is to eliminate the laptop bridge and connect the XBOX directly to the RG wireless network. The RGs are really picky with bridged connections.
