MSE works great and finds more issues than McAfee ever did.

I would of never figured that one out!!!! Good job man. I would of been contacting Tier 2 with a flurry lol. It amazes me how sensitive VDSL is and yet my drop from the ped to my NID is unshielded. Thank God I have had no probs like this "knocks on wood".

Well, what I find is 720p looks better for sports on U-Verse than 1080i but there have been games on Fox, ESPN, and NBC where I was using 1080i and I never hardly ever see macroblocking and I am using a RP HD CRT 57" I bought in '05. There are days on these networks the PQ is not as good on U-Verse or OTA since I use both and check them when problems arise with PQ. What I...

I totally agree. I know but that is the kind of stuff that surfaces about copper and trying to make us think it still has a future in this bandwidth war of competition. Competition is fierce. Look for example how DirecTV advertises you can get movies a full month before Netflix. I would of never thought a TV provider would be competing with a DvD/Bluray/streaming rental c...

ps3guy wrote: LD, you really sound like a loyal Xbox 360 fan, read all the reviews on the two systems, I will say that the Kinect gives an xbox 360 new life but it only works well with the new Xbox 360 Slim which is dumb, just to get the Kinect why would I need to buy a new Xbox if I have an older one. That makes no sense you are punishing the people that bought Xbox when...

Do you think every subdivision in their territory is FTTN. I know that a majority of them are but many out by me are FTTP. My in-laws have FTTP. Many subdivisions around me have FTTP. I have FTTN and am not gonna complain. I have had dish, directv, and comcast. They all have their +'s and -'s but TBO my PQ is not that bad as other's here state. Mine is just as good as DIS...

I understand this but I just watched the Bears vs. Packers and no macro-blocking at all on my 57" RP CRT. On CBS Colts vs. Titans I could see it. Fox broadcast in 720p. CBS in 1080i. So I went downstairs to the bar HDTV which is on OTA and still had some macro-blocking even over OTA so sometimes it is the network provider in my opinion. I have seen this quite often with s...

Only thing I ever heard was pair-bonding which is still in testing phase to increase distance of U-Verse.

U-Verse does add a little latency being interleaved but it is more so the game itself as many of my friends I game with MW2 has alot of latency period. I normally always have 4 bars and still in the killcam a bullet never comes out of my gun even though I shot like 5 or 10.

Your ping is alot higher than mine for test under 50 miles. I usually get 19-25ms.
