Very strange, tonight the app is working again. On two of my 3 devices, I reloaded the app AGAIN and now it works. When I did it last night, it didn't work. On one device, I still have an older version of the app which was not working last night. Tonight, with no STB or HGW reboots, it works fine. Very odd...

Tried that. It's something deeper. I have 3 devices and it's failing with "UNKNOWN ERROR - internal error" on all of them.

I use the app all the time but suddenly today, it's failing with "UNKNOWN INTERNAL NETWORK ERROR". What is going on?

I am really disappointed in Uverse's Olympic access. The app doesn't seem to do a thing. The channels mentioned are mostly showing non-Olympic programming. My friend paid $5 for a Tunnelbear subscription and has more access to Olympic coverage via CBC than what I get for the continually hiked up prices I have to pay for Uverse's lousy access. Thanks for the reply. I really like this app. If it had power and volume controls it would be near perfect. FYI, it loads and works find on my Samsung Galaxy Nexus cell but Google Play says it's not compatible with my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7". I found that to be absolutely false. I was able to grab the .apk file from the Nexus and install (sideload) it to the tablet (using...

I will try the non content-destructive recommendations this weekend and post the results and DVR model. The DVR was formatted a couple of years ago. I remember doing a reset and losing all recordings. The unit is connected to the HG via cat5. We have 2 other STBs, one is also connected via cat5 the other via coax. The cat5-attached non-DVR STB is where I usually watch the...

Seems whenever I record an HD show, I get multiple annoying freezes upon playback. I rarely, if ever see freezes like that when watching live HD. What can I do, short of a complete DVR reformat (I have things I'd rather not lose yet) to help diagnose the issue?

I installed the Android app on my Galaxy Nexus phone and it works nicely except that I wasn't able to figure out a way to power on the STB. "OK" doesn't do it and I haven't found any "Power switch". Can it be done?

OK, thanks. That's what I thought. I know I can see the ID after the call has ended but that doesn't help.

Thanks, but let me be more specific: Is they any way I can see the ID w/o buying h/w? From a browser or computer app?

I know I can see the caller ID on a STB-connected TV or a capable phone. Is there any way I can see who is calling from a network connection to the RG other than phone or STB? I know I can see the call log on the RG after the fact but I'd like to see it as the call is coming in since I'm often not near a TV or wired phone.

My mom has it and unfortunately it's either Charter or satellite and she doesn't want to go with satellite so she's stuck with them. More issues than she cares to mention. It really doesn't surprise me that they are the ones doing this. I think TWC tried it and failed miserably so I do...
