Also, check your weather prefrences as it often defaults to Texas, etc. Change that and your issue will be resolved.

The last tech that had a clue who was at my house a while ago stated that this will happen soon to compete with comcrap. People need speed folks!

Just when you thought you've seen it all! Never saw that one. Sounds like some form of malware. Recommend running CCleaner (awesome maintenance program) or a malware program such as HitManPro. This should resolve this. If all else fails, uninstall ATT then resinstall. You could also call Mcafee although you'll probably reach India at that point. Good luck.

This is not the norm I assure you. I've had several quite successful service calls with only one being rescheduled because the job before took longer than expected. Don't give up and let them try to resolve this.

I'm sure you mean d.v.r. not d.v.d. and no it does not affect your internet speed as they are seperate from one another. Now, too much storage on your hard drive or ram used on your computer will definetely slow processing on your computer.

I always set my series recordings to any day any time, first run only which works well 99% of the time on network t.v. Cable on the other hand will sometimes, not always record first run and every other repeat clogging the d.v.r. Beware of that. For the most part though it works awesome.

Call them and request the latest and greatest modem and d.v.r. Just state your having issues. They'll do it no problem. By the way commy-cast is the worst! Good luck with that.

It does take quite a while to run a full system scan which is annoying but it could be worse like Norton! That program installs itself throughout your system and requires special software to remove it totally. You could do a lot worse.

This is just a red tape blip in the system I'm sure. Been with them forever and no real issues. They will resolve it. If not, contact ATT customer care on line. Good luck.

My wife complained about the same thing and I don't know why Richardson TX. is the place that's so lucky. My home page did it as well. This is how I fixed it: you can go to your "set location" only to find it returns to Richardson TX.! Without going into the main page on your set location go to the little light bulb icon on the upper right of the window window click it, e...

If connections are fine and the coax connection is good, try hard rebooting of gateway (unplugging for 10 seconds), if this does not solve it you'll have to make a service call. They'll bring out a new Arris 2250 dvr and that should solve it, if not you have line issues. Good luck.

My Onkyo receiver does the same thing (1-2 second delay). If I watch regular t.v. and don't unselect surround sound the delay is 3 seconds. Very annoying since I only power up my a/v during shows/ movies that warrant it. I have my dvr set up hdmi to t.v. blu-ray hdmi to a/v via pass-through to t.v. and dvr audio optically to a/v. The reason I don't do pass-through for the...
