Also make sure the pluglinks are not plugged into a power strip,they work best connected directly to the plug in the wall.

Im curious as to why your at 200ms ping to the gateway(home) seems kinda high to me and thats before it even hits a remote server.Id also be curious to see what it would be like on an external wireless router with the gateway wireless disabled. if its windows vista or 7 the drivers for 2wire are already there the cd is not needed.

the last 2 static installs ive done i was told ip adresses are sold in blocks of 8 the first and last 2 are un usable,dunno why and it makes no senceso in reality when you buy a block of 8 you get 5 useable ip addresses

This may or may not be a stupid question but is your playstation connected directly to the gateway or are you connected to the ethernet off the backside of the stb?

the uverse tech will install all required wiring needed for your instalation, theres a couple different ways they can install it depending on if you get voip or not.

the feed to the stb is not in question its the broadband link from the ONT is the existing HOA using att suplied ONT and if so how is he getting sycnh to the gateway

My Question is not why but how? FTTP has a single fiber coming into the house,so if the 3rd party isp uses this fiber then how is it possible to bring uverse in over the fiber.

Take the factory tv remote hit the input/source button look to see what input your on,most tvs will only highlight an active input (a cable actually connected)if it is on TV you need to change the input to either hdmi or component.I would say if it is on a video1 or 2 its still a low def connection.But the easieat way is to look HDMI cable or Component cables,follow them u...

Seems to be the only issue ive run across,i have 2 tvs in my office and when i watch tv and play xbox at the same time the tv freezes n pixelates,however most people dont run into that situation often.but if the games left on and u watch tv you might see some freezing also
