The only real issue with customizing (changing SSID, encryption, etc) is if you ever have to "Factory Reset" the RG you will default back to the well "default" information located on the tag on the side of the RG Factory resetting involves holding down the little button on the back of the RG near the power cord for about 5 seconds and at times IS a troubleshooting step

If you had uverse tv already, there would be nothing sent to you the RG is already in place, all they have to do is add internet to your account There are other ways to "authenticate" someone over the phone, so try another agent.

You may want to access the RG and disable the Wifi Protected Setup (WPS) This appears to be a problem with Windows 7 and the WPS

Maybe you mean 1346? current codes listed for LG HDTV are - 1343, 1346, 1396 for standard TV - 1005, 1396, 1397, 1398, 1399, 1402, 1403, 1404, 1405, 1501

The coax connection will work - just make sure that tv is on channel 3 to view services the others may or may not be active when the component cables are used

the settings are the same for any email client incoming server - pop att.yahoo.com outgoing server - smtp.att.yahoo.com incoming port - 995 outgoing port - 465 use SSL for both found this walk thru online http://www.individual.net/configuration/seamonkey-1.1.4-win-en.php appears to be very similar to thunderbird

so, to be sure here.... your home page WAS set to att.my.yahoo.com which has the att logo on the left and powered by yahoo on the right you have now changed your home page to yahoo.com which has all the settings you want yes, 2 different pages absolutely your choice to which page you want, glad it was figure out

you may also try these for RG access http://gateway.2wire.net/management - for older firmware http://gateway.2wire.net - for the new firmware these should get you there as well just try them both if you don't know which firmware you have
