There are a lot of aspect that you might consider. Try checking the percentage or space of your dvr, it might be possible that you have insufficient space. Try doing this, got to Menu, Options, System Information, and then System Resources, and then check the recording disk usage in precent. You should maintain at least 20% of it. I can see that you have the "service is temporarily unavailable" it would be best to call tech support, have your DVR replaced. Even if you do hard reboot it still won't resolve the issue. tech support - 1-866-912-8216. :-)

When you call for tech support you can try to ask if they can replace your DVR to the new Motorola VIP1225. 3x the storage for you recorded programs.

Okay thanks. Have you tried swapping boxes? Try connecting your dvr to a different TV. If the same issue happens there might be a dvr issue. So you can ask for replacement for you dvr.!

You can disable the d-link utility and use Windows XP's wireless zero configuration settings. Usually that is the problem when using third party wireless adapter.
