Another option: If your husband takes that many business calls at home it might be worthwhile to consider putting in a second phone line, you'll have separate VM or answering machine.

Wish we had some of that rain up here, we are down over 7 inches for the year and an inch and a half last month alone. The trees are quickly changing colors and leaves have begun falling, by the end of the month most of the tree will be bare. Raking leaves falls just behind my least favorite chore....shoveling snow!!

Here's what the Climate Prediction Center is forecasting for Dec - Jan - Feb. I doubt we'll have a repeat of last winter's record setting mild winter but anything's possible.

This whole year's weather has been unusual, record setting mild winter, 80's in March, drought and the intense heat. We missed tying the record number of 90+ days here by 1and now the early frost. I wonder what old man winter has planned for us this year, I doubt we're going to escape with another mild one.

Kudos to Kong57 for finding a way to get the old homepage back. Now hopefully AT&T won't get wise and pull the plug on that too.

Unfortunatly no one here can answer your question as AT&T has never made know any plans to expand Uverse in a given area.

Here you go. http://www.att.com/esupport/article.jsp?sid=KB400362#fbid=cMa4O28CPSv Flickering green lights on ethernet, wireless and PNA (if you have TV) indicates data is being transfered and is normal.

This has happened before, I'm assuming it must be a glitch at ATT's end. Here's a thread from a year ago. http://forums.att.com/t5/Features-and-How-To/Call-Log-interesting-issue/m-p/2342291/highlight/true#M196

For internet use only, either one will work fine, the 3801 supports Uverse TV and the 3600 does not. The 3600 is supplied for self install of Uverse internet / phone and I believe has to be purchased ($100). Are you currently paying any monthly rental on the 3801? There is a possibility if you choose to keep the 3600 you might be billed for it. Sometimes it's better not t...

If you signed up for the self install, then you're on your own. If you want a tech to do the install there is usually an installation fee of $149, if you get TV service, the install fee is waived. Not sure about the PW, it's been a long time, I believe I used the last 4 of my SS# as a temp.

I have been using my fax machine without issues, as TG suggested, check the owners manual, sometimes lowering the machine's baud rate to 9600 will help. But be advised, there are machines that are not compatible with VOIP service and that will usually be stated in the manual.

Unless you received some kind of special promotion pricing requiring a 1 year agreement, Uverse has no contract. Call CS tell them you wish to cancel, they will send you an email with instructions on how and where to return the equipment.

Here's a link to troubleshooting faxing from the HP support site. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c02433954&tmp_task=solveCategory&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&site=null&lang=en&key=null&product=4083871. It does state that your particular machine was not designed to work on VOIP lines. There are some steps to follow that might get it to work, if not, then your o...

We were at a family member's house for Easter dinner, they don't have Uverse but we were watching the game and it was broadcast on Comcast Sportsnet Chicago. If you were trying to watch the game on Versus it was blacked out because it was being broadcast on CSN, which Uverse carries. Too bad you missed it, was a real nail biter.
