I agree with oufanindallas. People get tired of the "OMG!! THEY'RE GOING TO LOOSE THIS CHANNEL" Chicken Little sky-is-falling threads. It seems that you have a reputation for such threads.

Maybe this isn't what he's saying... but if the Cavs (my local team) are on channel 2109 and 1732 (my local FS channel) at the same time, if I am scrolling through League Pass and select channel 2019, it automatically takes me to channel 1732.

See if you can't get a free upgrade to U-300. If not, ask for a discount elsewhere, like free HD for a few months.

A few ideas they need to work on are: 1) Channels 1 & 2 being stats and schedules 2) Earlier games on channel 3 and later games on channel 10. If there's so many games that channels 1-2 are needed, those can be overflow. Right now, it appears that odd-numbered channels are used before evens. This makes channel surfing extremely difficult, especially if your local team is p...

ESPN Classic isn't getting the ratings it once did. ESPN keeps thinking about changing the format of ESPN Classic. One idea is to change it into an international sports format, similar to Fox Soccer, but we'll see where that goes. I would not expect an HD version of ESPN Classic anytime soon.

I have sen a lot of employees with disclaimers in their signatures mentioning that the posts are entirely their personal opinions and do not necessarily represent AT&T's strategies, viewpoints, or opinions.

Npanzeca, Don't AT&T employees have to put a notice in their signature? Just wondering why you claim to be an employee but aren't doing so.

Pdub, I don't think that matters. I think you get a password that you put into the NBA streaming site... Or else, you just use your already-existing AT&T password and username.

The free preview starts on 12/25 with the games on 12/26, as you said. It is important to note that the NBA season starts on 12/25, but those games are all on the national channels like TNT, ABC, and ESPN. The first day the PPV package is airing games is on 12/26. I would assume that if you call to order on 12/24, or the next few days, you'll be able to get the $169 price.

What about going to the broadcast websites like CBS.com or NBC.com and watching online? Hulu.com is another option.

Unless you know what you're doing, I wouldn't mess with any outside wiring. When I was installed, they had to replace a gray box on the outside of the house with a similar, larger gray box. The RG will want to go somewhere near the middle of your house, since it also serves as the wireless router. I've heard that the higher off the ground it goes, the better. If you have ...

The cost is still there, it's just rolled into the price of your base package. Exactly. ESPN charges for ESPN HD. MTV charges for MTV HD. Several providers just charge everyone, regardless of if they have HD service. They used to be...

Those additional channels are called "digital subchannels." AT&T does not carry them in ANY market. The best you can do is to set up a digital antenna to get those channels over the air.
