I know dragging up a year old post is kind of bad form, in a forum, but I might point out a year later, there have been many 'updates' to the U-Verse service, but still no slow-...

If so, how do you make your W7 comp visible to the uverse box (tried a bunch of different things, haven't gotten it to work yet). Thanks, Jeff Hey Jeff, When did you get the original PII update out of curiosity? i.e. how many days since PII...

Just as follow-up. it's 7 nights or 6 full days since the Phase II update here, and no media share has shown up. I rather suspect that it won't show up for most people getting PII since even the screen shots we've seen still clearly say it's BETA. Austin must be the main community chosen for beta testing that particular feature and I'll go out on a limb and guess it will ...

Well, except for that thing about being able to watch DVR content on other STB. lol Just guessing from the outside, Microsoft is working on the features in the order ATT has told them. Phase 2 is being able to schedule and delete recordings from a S...

texasguy37 wrote: Did you switch from Dish to AT&tT because you were unhappy with the service? Actually no. I rather loved my Dish service. The original reason I 'left dish' was due to a physicall relocation (move) where I didn't have a good SW view. I can have either DirectTV or Dish or Comcast at my present location. I signed up for U-Verse mostly for the THDVR and beca...

Message Edited by sportsman on 06-29-2009 01:43 AM Just because I use a co's product doesn't mean I have to be all fan-boi or sychopantic about it. I call a spade a spade and if a co I'm a customer of does something I dislike - I'll say so.

Seriously, they didn't include slo motion replay in Phase II EITHER ? AT&T not having slo-mo replay is like the iPhone not doing MMS. They are each touted as the technological forefront of their respective devices when compared to their peers, and yet they both lack some of the BASIC fundemental features that other 'lesser' devices have had for a long long time. It's ridi...

Yea I got the update last night too - also an IL customer but no Media Share in the Interactive Menu list. I like the new GUI look, hate the previously changed 30-sec skip button functionality but I see another wohle thread about that I've yet to read so i'll head over there. Been away from the forums with nothing happening now that change is in the air again I'll have to...

This is always going to come down to personal preferences and usage. I've had DVR's from DishNetwork. Comcast. AT&T Uverse (currently) and Yes a TiVo series 2 dual tuner 80 Hour that I modified for 300hours. There is absolutely 0 question in my mind having actually used them all that by a LONG shot. TiVo is the absolute BEST dvr product it's not even close. With that said...

I have a similar device which has proven invaluable over the years, but it only does RCA no s-video. I hope they develope an HDMI version, that would be awesome.

Some have been able to record one day and not be able to record the next. Others have posted that there are devices that will enable you to record from the dvr to a dvd. It would be my suspicion that the reason this happens is more about the ...
