So does that mean that even though I've been with AT&T for well over 10 years, and have had my current router for approximately 3 years, I still can't buy my router?

For the past 8-10 mos. my DVR set top box doesn't always respond to my AT&T silver remote control when I press either the fast forward, stop or play buttons. I have rotated the batteries, as well as having changed them numerous times without success. I have 2 set top boxes for my 2 tv's, but only 1 of the boxes is a DVR. I am inclined to think that it's a problem with the...

I have called AT&T several times about calls from the number "1", "000-0000", and at least one, if not more, that had only 5 or 6 numbers showing on caller ID. Every time I call trying to get these numbers blocked from calling me I get the same response, "sorry, we know this is a problem but we can't do anything about it."

You shouldn't answer any calls with numbers like "1" or "000-0000", "not available", etc. If you should happen to speak to a real person on the other end you can be 100% certain its a scam. And you can be just as certain that no one from the IRS is going to call you and use profanity.

The idea & thought was right, but the government was just overwhelmed with complaints, which they aren't capable of dealing with and the offenders know it. Hopalong Sent from my iPhone

What department, or is it called "UARC"? I spoke to someone at AT&T earlier who told me that nothing can be done about these types of numbers being entered. So, if they can I would certainly like to know how and who to contact. I had another one of these yesterday. I have been getting so many phone calls yielding phoney caller ID's, partial numbers, "Not Available", etc.,...

This is more a function/fault of VOiP phone service. With landline service, which I just gave up 5 mos. ago for the cheaper VOiP U-verse service, I never had a problem like this. However, I have also been harrassed by several others who also spoof their phone numbers, e.g., using my own area code, using my exact home phone number, and numbers a few digits off, as well as ...

Although I haven't been bothered by this/these individuals as much recently, I did get another call like this today. However, my caller ID is showing "Out of Area" and the number 1. If it said "Anonymous" it wouldn't get through because I do have the Anonymous Call Blocking set up. Last week I spoke with someone at AT&T about this and was told that nothing can be done abo...

Anonymous Call Blocking provides the message, "The number you dialed will not accept your call", to those callers who have their Caller ID information marked as private, restricted, anonymous, unavailable, or blocked. This feature is included with your service at no extra charge. Your phone does not ring and t...

Out of a dozen cell phones that call me, two have a name. "wireless" is the standard. Could the I be a 1? There are many posts complaining that telemarketers use this because ...

AT&T installed the cable when they connected it to the tv years ago. I don't think they would have used the wrong cable. Either way, AT&T is sending me a new stb cable box!
