You can probably do that, but I think you'd be setting yourself up for account issues switching the account back and forth between the two addresses, like not getting transfered on your arrival date. Unfortunately, the only people that can access an AT&T gateway directly from the internet is AT&T. What you need to do is do a remote desktop (or similar) to one of your computers at home and access the gateway from the LAN side.
