Ultimately the point is still the fact that ATT IS providing what they advertise. They haven't changed to charge for anything for usage yet. As long as ATT is up front about the usage limits in the future IF they implement it, then they will still be providing what they advertise. This is not the same thing as the cable companies secretly throttling Bit Torrent traffic, T...

It might be different in the way it prioritizes and categorize the data coming in. Its still data coming in and out of the pipe. Difference is the IPTV uses terminology where they say 2HD/2SD in terms of signals coming in. 2HD/2SD ultimately means 25 meg data cap to be honest. In regardless to how its categorized, it is still data, hence IP TV. ATT just need to live up to...

This seems like a oxymoron move by AT&T. Uverse offers IPTV . IPTV ( Internet Protocol Television ) is a system where a digital television service is delivered using Internet Protocol over a network infrastructure, which may include delivery by a broadband connection.(wikipedia) Charging internet by usage would be same as charging TV by usage from an IPTV standpoint. Is A...

For all your fellow Max tier members, have you guys noticed HD channels to be clearer? Less pixel? I am not sure if its all psychological but I feel my HD picture quality improved as well. Not sure if its due to the 4 extra mb stream or how that plays a factor.

I just talked to a rep. He ordered the max for me for $15 dollars more. He told me the new max tier will not be available for NEW customers until the 18th. For pre-existing customers, you must call before the 18th to receive the double pack discount. Now lets see how long it takes them to upgrade my speed.
