Been wanting that! [fingers crossed!] Morac wrote: Does anyone know if the call blocking feature in iOS 7 integrates with AT&T or does it simply answer and hang up on blocked numbers? Either way, I've been waiting for that feature for years.

Interesting, and good to know! Thanks for sharing! gphipps wrote: I ended up restoring the phone and setting it up as a new phone and it then showed 0 hours of usage so restoring from a backup was definitely the issue.

Last week was started on Thurs. the 5th, so are we doing these other than Fri. now? (from my WOTT to be deleted, not sure why #302 didn't show as not read for me) Happy Friday the 13th, y'all...for those who are superstitious. I'm stuck at some friends' home this month (caretaker/petsitting), and they forgot to give me the new wi-fi password! They're enjoying a trip to Eu...

Couldn't do without cats in my life...now that's an idea, charge people to pet my cats! Most hide when company comes, so would have to work on that idea. It seems a litter box and food bowls couldn't take up that much room?

ME WANT! We could take up a collection and send it around the country (for those who paid in)...like a TV timeshare? Now, how is this not going backwards, as in rear/front-projection?

I'm just now inputting 6 mos. of past bills and noticed 2 of those months show the nominal $2 data fee (pay-per-use on dumb phone Family Talk). I find this interesting since the phone hasn't been used during those months. Is this some arbitrary charge ATT is sticking in there to see if we're monitoring our charges? NOT happy about this, and too late to do anything now. Be...

@dmapr Thanks for the clarification! I do have my old SIMs, but can't use in current smartphone. Keep old phone as backup between purchases, or in case of emergency. So, in theory, the old ATT/Cingular SIMs are still safe in the USA (at this writing).

They replaced my phone! Perfect and clean, but couldn't duplicate the issue. They noted several apps crashing, so took a photo of diagnostics and sent it to myself. One was the Uverse app! Uninstalled the culprits and reinstalled. Hardest part was driving home without music, address book, or apps.

Log in to your ATT account and select Add a Line ($9.99), and a selection of phones available will come up. iPhones have special rules. But as far as I know, it's still $9.99 to add a line. Do you have a Family Talk plan? Forgot to add, it will cost you a one-time $36 Activation Fee, unless you can find a phone or deal that waives it.

Good advice, especially for people who have never weathered a hurricane. I was impressed that ATT sent text and voice messages to our cells after Ike took out power and all services. Before it hit would have been better, but they made an effort when no one else did. One of the hardest things to do is keep your cell charged up! And if it has a non-replaceable battery, even...

These are the ones I went with, a plus was the wall mount fit the same wall anchors, so didn't need new holes! I've had them for a couple months now. They do fine with BT and the iPhone, but do NOT ring with my cell's ring tone (as advertised); not a deal breaker. And maybe because I have a custom tone? Really like the white background and large print, plus buttons are hu...

R esidential G ateway, the router/modem. You could do a remote reset by accessing the software, but you'll need the password from the sticker on the router (unless you have changed it to something custom). This link will let you run a test on your Broadband connection (you will lose all services for a few minutes). http://192.168.1.254/xslt?PAGE=C_5_0 Or, you can do a rem...

Finally got the 3801 and all has been well...until a recent power outage and all TV boxes would not come back up. Resolved that in another thread. Overall, 3801 has been great (so far).

Wanted to post back that I ended up returning the new charger-tip, and am using my old one (2nd gen. Touch) for iPhone 4S without problems. I contacted iGo directly, and they stated that as long as it charges the phone and does not give an error message, it's good to go.

Apparently that IS the problem, the iPhone's micro-SIM! Once you go to a micro-SIM phone, they PERMANENTLY deactivate the old (standard size) SIM. Once a SIM is deactivated, it can NEVER be r eactivated. Thus, the reason for having to buy/get a new SIM. If going from micro-SIM back to another micro-SIM phone, there is no problem. Sound right? And something ATT sure didn't...

Just change to another channel with your remote, go up or down a channel on the Uverse box (not the TV). Example: 200 sounds reverb'd, then change up to 201 or down to 199--or just pick a channel, any channel. Leaving the one that sounds underwater and then coming back to it fixes it (or at least it does here).
