Make sure to put a checkmark on the Leave a copy of messge on the server option under the Advanced tab of your Outlook Express settings.

I am getting 0x800ccc0F when I send an email or when I click on Send/Receive through Outlook Express. It has worked before and didn't work suddenly. Yes, you should be able to. Your emails still pass through the server so you should still receive them on your webmail unless you have not set Thunderbird to "Leave a copy of messages in the server". If you wanted to use the All New AT&T Yahoo! Mail and do not want the chat feature, just click on the smiley face on the Contacts and select Logout of chat or you may click on the smiley face beside the Sign out link and choose logout of chat. You can archive emails. Just specify the start and end dates to which you need to save those emails to your document folder.

You can also login to your webmail and click on the Mail Options and select Set AT&T Yahoo! Mail as a default mail program.

You need to check your Forwarding feature from the Mail Options. Not the POP Access and Forwarding option but through the General Options.
