I have a Captivate with firmware 2.2 build Froyo.uckb1 which won't work with pptp over 3g. I know pptp is configured correctly as it works fine if I connect to wifi. I also know pptp makes it to my corporate server with 3g as I get a password error if I use the wrong password. But if I used the correct login info, it says "connecting" for awhile and then times out with an...

Since cell phones came out, we've been at the mercy of the service provider, and they don't care. Once you've signed up, you're at their mercy. Settings -> Sound and Display -> Notification ringtone It would be nice if it was called something more obvious, like calendar sound or reminder. Or it they put the setting in the calendar also. The Galaxy S hardware is great and Android is a nice OS, but I sure do miss Windows Mobile email and calendaring. And it's sad that all these Android and iphone have Activesync li...

Is there a way to get the calendar notifications to vibrate? (without having the whole phone set to vibrate). I set my incoming calls to vibrate, changed the sound for emails, and changed the sound for calendar reminders, but I also want the reminders to vibrate. Rich
