Yeah I know the systems are automated. Still there was a real person that decided to program the systems to act as they do. So someone decided that if the system detects an iphone then that user gets a data plan. Thats ok for 90+% of users who got a subsidized iphone, new plan, etc, who owe apple/att. But there are some like me who have been paying for voice service only ...
