Saw this on another site and said what the heck.. ez to try... well... I don't know the reasoning but so far... Pulled battery and pulled SD card. Charge overnight.. So far.. my android OS is back down to 9-11% where it has been running at 57-87% or so. ON battery for 5hrs and at 81%. Will monitor this more to see if anything changes in the next few days.

I'm not going to turn in my NEW phone for a refurb. If the new batteries don't do diddly, I'll still survive. I'm using app killer that helps me get a full day in.

Just got off att chat. Got switched to warranty chat...took awhile, but they are sending new battery. They said they've never heard of battery issues after the upgrade and are not aware of any other updates coming at this time. For those reverting back to 2.3.4........has your battery life gone back to the way it was, or is it still as poor as at 2.3.6? If still poor, thi...

I also have an increase in battery drain. I looked at battery usage and the android OS is now the lead drain at 48%. Used to be screen was the big drain. So to me this means.... that after the update, there are more processes/apps started up. I d/loaded advanced task killer... killed most things and that dropped usage of Android OS by 12%. I'm not sure how overall battery...

I just got an HTC Inspire.. great phone.... I have the 200mb data plan... I'm already almost maxed out only after a week having it. I only use the wifi for internet usage. It seems that there is some auto updating going on...maybe for email or something? Is there a way to turn off any "auto" updates or auto anything else that connects to media net without my knowledge?

Okay.. LG VU is a smartphone... But I'm on a family plan and was paying $15/unlimited data.... is that the rate I'll pay for unlimited or is it what others were paying for unlimited, $30? Just would like to know before I call AT&T for "ammo" reasons.
