nah ive never worked at an att store, nor would i, my experience comes through personal events, i explored all companies before picking a cell phone

your problem with store agents is there lack of training, they're taught how to sell equipments and service, anything technical they learn on the fly, so just like several people in these forums there information comes from heresay more so than actual information or policies
