Is texting to a Canada mobile phone covered under the $25 plan? That plan has unlimited messaging.

Yes the at&t phone can be used as a gophone. All that matters is you have either a gophone sim card OR have an att rep change your phone number to a go phone account. I was a contract user and switched to pay as you go and had the rep change my account to a prepaid user. I have my same phone number but its a prepaid now.

Nevermind. I found out what it is by googling and checking a few results. It's when you have the call blocking enabled. I blocked a phone number on my phone's call reject list and that is what the icon means, it's active/on.

I just got an LG GU295 and see yellow curly arrow on the icon panel in the phone. The user guide doesn't list an arrow. I can't figure out what it is. Can someone help me figure it out? Thanks!

This isn't the place to get an unlock code. Try googling "unlock code" and the phone model you have. You have to pay for an unlock code through a third party.

You always want to keep your sim card unless they tell you otherwise. Your sim card is your unique identification module that connects you to the network to make and receive calls. I will never again buy a cell phone that is tied to a contract. That's the problem, if you upgrade you cant upgrade for another 2 years. And by then the phone will probably go bad so you have t...

Thank you for the link. I've checked them out and that has solved one problem but I occasionally still get charged 1 cent for data usage when I'm not using the phone for data. It's strange. I have my home wifi set as priority 1 and att's internet as priority 2... Brittany

Media net usage is not from text messages. It's from data usage such as browsing the web and downloading games/apps/pics/ringtones, etc.

I have prepaid service with a Nokia E71x (got it second-hand). It connects several times a day using GPRS. It is costing me one penny every time it connects. How do I stop the GPRS from connecting? I've set up my home wireless as priority 1 in the settings... It doesn't use it it uses 3G data instead. I don't know why. How can I fix this?

I'll be getting an 8820 and I'm a prepaid (gophone) user. The only data plans available for gophone users is the 1MB and 200MB plans which are $5 and $20 respectively. When I get this phone will it automatically charge me the $20 data plan or is there a different data plan that can be added monthly? Do I need to call customer support to inquire about it or will it do it a...
