I just upgraded to the HR-34 and am having trouble getting my AM-21 off-air tuner to work. I run through the setup and it asks for my zip code and finds my market. It then takes a couple minutes to dowload satellite data and finally gives me a Continue which brings me back to the setup screen and the "Edit Off-Air Channels" is greyed out. Thanks both of you! I followed dcd's instructions and all seems to be back to normal. I do have both DVRs on a switch by the way. I'm not sure if it really makes any difference. The only problem I have is lag when I hit the 30 second skip on a program that's recorded on the other DVR. . Other than that, everything works great. THANKS FOR THE HELP!

Update: Upon further experimentation I've found that when the list indicates 3 recordings, one on each DVR I'm not sure there actually are 2. When I delete one, the other one delete's, too.

I have HR-21 & HR-22 HD DVRs and both are hooked up to my network via ethernet. I have Whole-Home DVR service authorized and running over my network. I've had that going since the Beta other than one point when they shut it off and I had to make a stink to get it turned back on. I did not pay for an installer to come out and set it up. So it's just operating over my ether...

I'm happy to report that my Whole-House DVR service is finally authorized and working again. No thanks to the jerks in customer service I spent 3 hours on the phone with a few nights ago. Thanks for the suggestion to email. That did the trick. I still don't know why they shut it off in the first place.

Yes I have been paying the $3/month since the Beta ended. They explained to me at the time that I could do the unsupported version which I did and its been working fine. I believe we have an HR21 & HR22. Both networkable HD-DVRs. The only problem I've ever had was having to reboot my router once in a while to restore connections. Its worked pretty flawlessly since the bet...

I have been running the unsupported Whole Home Service on my home network (hardwired ethernet) since the beta without a problem. All of the sudden the service is gone and I get a notice to call the 800 number to authorize it. I just spent 2 or 3 hours on the phone with reps telling me I have to spend $250 and have a tech come out. Since its unsupported they can't help me....

I had a similar experience yesterday. It took about 1/2 an hour on the phone to finally get my $3 pkg activated and back to where I was with the beta. I have 2 HD-DVR's, both hooked into my home network with CAT5. The CSR first told me I had to spend $150 for equipment and a service call. I've been having the same problems. Now I just rebooted my desktop after installing Microsoft updates (IE 8) and I'm getting an errot message saying it "Can't find the serever.
