There's a hundred-and-some-odd factors (ie. late/oustanding payments etc.) that can negatively affect your upgrade eligibililty time frame but the main one (if you're a good customer and pay your bill on time) that determines if you're going to be closer to the 12 month or the 20 month time period is based off how much revenue they pull in off you each month. Becaue they'...

Yup Aea you're pretty much stuck. If you search the message boards for "terrible 3g coverage downtown denver" a thread that I opened a few weeks ago should come up. AT&T has already closed it because the moderators were tired of having to follow it. The most useful information in that thread is that AT&T's engineers came out and tested the area concluding that the 3G sign...

If telephony is so important to you, a) either buy a phone from another carrier, or b) get a landline and stay home during your 12-hour shifts. All the major carriers are going to be experiencing some disruptions over the next few years, as they...

BrianfromNO wrote: I honestly find it hard to believe that anyone has a career where a missed phone call can be "potentially career ending", but a cell phone is perhaps not the right technology for you. Honestly, no cell phone carrier is going to provide any kind of guarantee of coverage at any given point in time or geographic location. There are simply too many variable...

UPDATE: Just this afternoon I found a voicemail (left on the landline I had to get because AT&T is so unreliable here) from {Personal content removed for saftey} indicating that network engineers responding to the case opened from my complaints have found the 3G signal from towers in my area (Downtown Denver) to be very weak and virtually unusable indoors. They are "sched...

Actually, I AM paying a prem...

AT&T tech support is clueless. I ask that you call them and complain, however, don't expect to have any issues resolved. All they do is check the coverage map in your area and see that there's SUPPOSED to be great 3G coverage then blow off anything else you have to say. How is it that my phone can show me it has 5 bars of 3G service available then not allow incoming/outgo...
