You can use the blanked out profile to prevent from connecting to the data network and, if your phone has it, a Wifi connection to send the data consuming files (Ringtones, pics, videos, etc.).

Call customer care. In all likelihood they'll tell you to re-download it and then refund you the cost of it for the initial purchase.

Well, hopefully since it's the same cost for half the time, they'll use the extra money to expand the Answertones Library. Doubtful, but it'd be a good customer-oriented use of the additional funds.

Yes this is possible. On your AnswerTone management page, if you want EVERYONE to hear it, just set it as your default tone with ALL DAY for the time selection. The tone would then be applied to any caller regardless of who it is or what time they are calling.

In your OLAM (Online Account Manager) there should be a Reset Voicemail selection. Also, you should probably update the device listed.

That would depend on the source of the charge. On your bill it will show as wap, but sometimes there's also 3rd party subscription services listed. You would have to cancel the subscription services to not be charged through them. Also, deending on your device, whether or not you have a messaging plan will also count, such is the case with sending MMS which exceeds a cert...

The stock is generally replenished on a weekly basis. However, the fulfillment is done in the order that the orders were received, so as to where your order is in the line I am uncertain. They do generally receive more than one shipment per week in attempts to accomodate the requests, but it is a corporation we're talking about; and corporations are machines. People don't...

For the Bluetooth File Transfer app, use your phone and navigate directly to their website: Medieval App Website To use it to transfer files you can either do a single file by long-pressing it and selecting to send using bluetooth, or you can open the app and then navigate through the folders in your phone to do a batch send.

Your best option would be to contact Motorola directly on this issue. Their toll-free number is: +1 866 BUY MOTO (U.S. only) OR By email: Email Motorola

The orders would have been most likely auto-completed separately as yours and your mother's lines are New Lines of Service while you step-dad's is merely an upgrade. Upgrades are generally processed first as they would become the primary line when adding new lines of service. Also, if the Backflip or the iPhone were on backorder, the whole order will be held until all ite...

Try checking if your settings lists an "Account" listing. If it does, you should be able to adjust which one is the default with the options menu...or through long pressing the account. (Not 100% as I own a Cliq, not a Backflip). You can also try consulting your manual to see if there is anything listed on how to adjust the default. (It's always best to check the manual f...

If you send an SMS to an email from your phone and you have a texting plan, it costs you nothing additional. If you send an email to your phone you have to ensure you choose Plain Text for the formatting type to not incur charges. However, I have not known AT&T to have many "texting" plans remaining. They're all Messaging Plans now. (Which are text, picture, video, and IM)...

On your phone, go through the following (before connecting). Main Menu, select Settings, Select Connections. There should be 2; Bluetooth, and USB, select USB. By default it's generally Media Sync lately. If it's listed as either Media Sync or Data Connection, select to change it and select Memory Card. Attach the phone to the computer using the Cable. Computer will now s...

Try putting the card in the phone and formatting it before moving any files onto it. That should solve the issue.

Considering that your ringtones would probably be a much smaller file size than your MP3s, why not just move them to be stored on the phone. Then when you open your music player with the song list showing press Options, Filter By, Storage Location, and select to only display (also only plays) those that are stored on your card.

The charges, as previously stated, are the same. for the case, if it's a Universal case, you're good to go. If it's more of an exact/snug fit on the V3, you'll need a new one. The butt of a V3xx is just a little longer than that of the V3. (I found that out the hard way when switching previously).

That would really all depend on what she uses the phone for. If it's mainly just for phone calls, then ANY bluetooth headset should work just fine. I would recommend the Motorola H500 or one like it (H500 is getting a bit difficult to find). If it's for both music AND calls then I would have to recommend either the Jawbone or the Southwind SA505; (the SA505 is the only com...

The reason for picking your phone is not all ringtones are compatible with all phones. Best way around this would be to go through the Shop -> Ringtones & More section and find ringtones that are compatible with your phone. Then find another phone (included on the list of phone selections that are available) that is also compatible with the same tone.

Actually it's "Family Messaging" not Family Texting. And yes, if it's the Family Messaging for $30/month, that includes Text, Picture, and Video Messaging as well as IM using on of the pre-installed clients (usually MSN, AIM, and Yahoo!). I was reading in another thread however that there may be a size limitation for the Picture/Video messaging as MMS or any kind does use...

Where did you see it about beeing under 600kb? Most Motorolas (the V3xx included) have to be under 300kb; which would disqualify your MP3 from being applied. (You said it was 325kb). Also, the bitrate doesn't have a requirement. AT&T Purchased ringtones run at 64kbps, so that eliminates that theory as well. Anyhow, just take any audio editor and drop your bitrate from 128...

In your voicemail options when it says "Send Press 2, Check Receipts Press 3, Personal Options Press 4" pick number 4. On the next menu menu Pick 2 for Administrative options. The next menu, press for "Touch Tone" paging options. Turn them off. That will remove the option to send a numeric page.

Empty your mailbox for one, then make sure you messages are less than 160 characters in length. Anything over 160 exceeds the SMS parameters and goes through as MMS. Same as if you currently have too many messages in your inbox.
