I used to have Xpress Mail but I dumped it because it didn't support bidirectional folder sync with IMAP e-mail accounts e.g. gmail. Has Xpress Mail been improved so it now supports full bidirectional sync for IMAP folders?

Thanks for all the replies. The more I think about it the iPhone has more the cons than the pros. It would suck to pay full price and find out AT&T won't fully support it. It's too bad. Which WinMo phone is the best alternative? I'm looking at the HTC Fuze. Touchscreen, Wi-Fi, GPS, it's pretty similar.

How is the subsidy lock built into the OS? What happens if my international iPhone receives an software update from AT&T. I also have a Windows Mobile phone and when the OS updated from 6.0 to 6.1, the previously unlocked phone became locked again. Luckily I kept a copy of the subsidy unlock code and unlocked it again.

Does anyone know if there are going to be any problems if I use an overseas iPhone 3GS on AT&T's network? I'm not talking about a hacked US iPhone, this would be a legit iPhone purchased internationally. In particular I am concerned that whether the iPhone will be able to get software updates and whether by being on the AT&T network it will get subsidy locked to AT&T. An ...

I have both but I have to return one of them in a few days, not really long enough to really learn to live with them. I've had the Duo for a few weeks, but I'm only going to play around with the Pearl for a day. Windows Mobile vs. Blackberry. The Duo has 3G, Pearl has Edge and wi-fi. The Duo has pull e-mail the Pearl has quasi-push through BIS. Battery life on the Duo suck...

I just updated my Duo to WM 6.1. A few thoughts: The update wizard works on Vista too. The USB installer in the Wizard does not work. You have to use the Mustang installer posted above. All your files on the phone will be erased by the update. All the files on an SD card will be OK. If your Duo is subsidy unlocked, have your code handy because it will lock back up after th...

I'm sort of fed up with my WM6 phone so I'm ditching it for BB. But hopefully someone can help me avoid going through painful trial and error I went through setting up my e-mail. I have 4 e-mail accounts I use (3 Gmail and a POP/IMAP server). I regularly check mail from different locations. I used Outlook 2003 as my PC client. Before I got the WM6 phone all the accounts we...

Tech support just told me that Xpress Mail's direct push only works with MS Exchange Server 2003 SP2. Without Exchange Server it's just a pull client, and not a very good one at that. Tech support is forbidden from commenting on Xpress Mail, but it was obvious that the tech thought the software was a POS.

I have a Pantech Duo for about 2 weeks now. I've noticed that Xpress Mail doesn't seem to work all the time. Sometimes I'll get e-mail, sometimes I won't. It's gotten to the point that I have set up a regular pull Outlook e-mail account to check my mail server as a backup because Xpress push is so unreliable. Is this what everybody else is experiencing too? Tech support is...
