Thanks for the responses. Actually, the hotspot I'm speaking of is on my iPhone 6 Plus. I mentioned the iPad because it happens to recognize the availability of the hotspot on the iPhone, even displaying the characteristics inder WFi I mentioned earlier on the iPad also. It displays on the iPad as an available network.

I noticed, even before my upgrade to 9.3.1, that the icon for personal hotspot was available on my iPhone 6 Plus. There's even a provision on my iPad Pro under WiFi showing the battery indicator, signal strength indicator and hotspot availability icon connected to the iPhone. I gave it a try and, rather than give me the notification that I needed to upgrade my wireless pla...

I've tried a few of the suggestions in the information you gave and they seemed to have worked. I'll keep an eye on it and see if it sticks, but this is the first time I've been able to search in this way in a long time. Thanks again for your help!

In Settings, I have Contacts and Phone selected for Spotlight Search on my iPhone 6 Plus. But when I do a search, everything containing the search subject (Notes, Emails, Messages, etc.) shows, but my contacts. Has his happened with anyone else? Any clue on how to correct it? Thanks in advance.

The CS rep was honest enough to look at my plan and decide it would actually be more expensive to go away fm my legacy plan. I just thought it made sense that since I have my devices paid for, and, hence, am not paying off a phone, my plan costs would be cheaper.

I've heard that when you pay for your iPhone outright the plan is less expensive because part of the plan payment when you purchase subsidized is paying off the phone. Does anyone know if that's true? I bought my iPhone plus outright, as well as my wife's Nokia, but I don't see any difference in my plan charges from when I went the subsidized route for many years. The AT&T...

Best bet would probably be to call customer service about your specific account.

Hi, all. I have noticed, in the last few months, a beep sound every so often while talking with someone on my phone. It sounds exactly like a beep you'd hear if you pressed one of the dialing buttons, but that's not the case. I almost always have the phone on speaker or on blutooth, so I'm not even touching the phone. The person on the other end of the line not only doesn...

You know how you can tell if an intended text recipient has iMessage before you send them a message? I'm wondering if there's a way to do that with phone calls. Does anyone know if there's a way to tell before you make a phone call if the intended recipient of that phone call is on the AT&T network? Thanks in advance!

This is driving me crazy. When I'm riding down the street, the WiFi Network Available alert goes off every time it detects a signal. I've searched through the phone and I can't find a way to turn this off. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Touh the top of the screen, right below that bar with the title, artist's name, etc. Another bar shows up with the shuffle icon at the far right. It'll be white if shuffle feature is on. Touch it, and it clears. Shuffle is then off.
