<snip> "However, AT&T has sold me a device that only works on their network..." </snip> Otherwise stated, "I purchased a device that only works on their network..." Pay the ETF, sell the phone, and you're even. WTBD?

Nah, if you're already paying a data plan you should be able to switch from an original to a 3G and the "system" shoudn't care. Others may have more detailed info, but we've done that switch before and it didn't change anything.

Nope. Not because of the cap, at least not directly. My complaint is that in a given month, I can use 2GB on my phone for 25.00, or I can use 2GB on my phone connected to my PC for 45.00...That's the same number of bits per month, over the same network, off the same towers, for a big chunk more money. No {now Brian, you know better; expletive deleted} way.

Nope. I'd change from the iphone tomorrow if I could get the same functionality plus flash--but it would have to be on AT&T. I have a VZW phone issued to me by the company I work for, and at home, at work and in between the iphone is FAR superior in call quality and coverage consistency. I bet I have NEVER dropped a call on this phone, except once at a dead spot right on ...

@Brian, I'm just struggling with why the phone wouldn't be made capable of playing ANY content. When I click on a video link, I just want it to play. mov, wmv, flash, I don't care. I'm disappointed that over the evolution of the device they haven't made that kind of a change. That having been said, that's a feature I knew I wanted, knew the phone didn't have, and decided ...
