this is all AT&Ts fault.if it were up to Samsung they would already have jelly bean on their current flagship device. Why wouldn't they want their flagship phone operating as fast as possible. AT&T on the other hand could care less because the s3 is not their flagship device.so anyway, here we are now at the end of the month and no jelly bean.

It doesn't surprise me that one of their reps talked like that. Anyway, even if you reach their tech department those reps are clueless and only know what their system tells them. I wish I could always talk to a well educated IT rep, but that'll never happen at AT&T. They are rated the worst customer service because they have people answering the phones with not a care or...

I was informed that if you goto APP MANAGER - ALL PROGRAMS - FIND ATT SOFTWARE UPDATE - CLEAR DATA - that this will allow you to check for updates again without waiting 24 hours I don't know if this could cause other harm though....

I think that it's pretty odd how many of us received different answers from AT&T reps in regards to both the version number and release date. This just really ticks me off because we all know that at the very least the developers at AT&T know what the deal is and this clearly states AT&T doesn't care about the end user at all. does AT&T ever respond to these posts? Every OS has bugs. Look at Apple's 6.0 release. They knew it had bugs and released it anyway. My point is that don't always expect that updates won't be pushed because of reported bugs. I totally understand your point, but at this rate I would take 4.2 with bugs over ICS any day now.
