If you look at my username, you will know how long I've been a customer of this company. (Hint: mmode was the name of the mobile product offered by the legacy AT&T Mobile BEFORE it became Cingular and BEFORE Cingular became AT&T Mobility.) Well, AT&T seems to have fixed the problem. I have been running the S5 APK for the past few days and it works tolerably (hate the colors, won't switch to landscape orientation when I turn the phone), but I just removed updates via Application Manager (which now says I am running 11.2.2.0), and it works just fine over 4G and wifi.

Well, I just got off the phone with AT&T. They are telling people this is a "known issue" and that Samsung is working on it. No SLA, no workaround. Then they gave me Samsung's phone number (which is 888 987 4357). Typical. "Thanks for being the BEST PART of AT&T" said the CSR. Yes, because everything about AT&T besides its customers, actually SUCKS.

Thanks, aec007. Unfortunately, the APK did not work for me, even when properly installed. Ugly colors, worked perfect on Wifi, "cannot find a network connection" on 4G. I'm using S for Switch Voice right now as a workaround. It automatically opens Google Now every time S-Voice is invoked.

Hi, aec007. I had the very same problem today for the first time with my Galaxy Note 3 on AT&T. I can use S-Voice perfectly via Wifi, but not via 4G LTE. I kind of figured this had to do with some recent update, and you have confirmed this for me. (You also saved me a ton of time, because I'm confident that the folks at AT&T Tech Support would not have known the answer.) ...
