Good Luck with other Carriers. Other Carriers who do not even have rollover minutes. So those larger bills you will receive im sure will make you happy right? Thanks for your consideration.

Call AT&T at 18003310500 and ask for Data Support. Business or consumer depending on your account. They need to release the PIN from the BIS admin site from RIM by deleting the old account. Then you can create your own.

Download Pocket Tunes. Already works for Sirius. No need to get this app. Been using it for about 2 months now.

It works because of a service book. That service book is put on the device by default(8310+, 8110+,900) if it becomes corrupt or is deleted you will not be able to send or receive MMS. The only way to get this service book pushed back to the device is by adding the data plan.

If hard reseting the device has not helped. The only other step would be to reload the handheld software back onto the device via DTM and the Application loader. If it will not connect to your computer, you may want to contact Data support tos ee if they can get it connected and fixed. Or exchange the device out.

I fyou have applications that work via isp.cingular, then you MUST have tethering. As the only application I know of that uses this APN is tethering/ACM. So thus no one lied, you just have some application not provided by AT&T that does not work unless you have the appropriate data plan.

This is a customer forum and AT&T reps will not answer here. Wabbit is correct in this case. wap.cingular is the default APN for the AT&T data network. isp.cingular is used for tethering and modem use only. Additional charges may result without correct provisioning on the account. Message Edited by Jgibson7 on 02-27-2009 09:14:36 AM

On the AT&T network blackberrys require to have the 4.5 handheld software in order to watch youtube videos. Also this is not something AT&T supports, if it does not work for whatever reason, you are out of luck.

No, the cost of the data is incorporated within the charge of the message, which in your case is free. (Included)

You need to log into your BIS account at att.blackberry.com or, on the device go to att.com/blackberrystart, and resend service books to the device to send/receive.

I would only recommend a Blackberry for what you are looking for. They are affordable now, great keyboard, and also one of the most solid build devices from any manufacturer. Curves and Pearls are fairly cheap now, but my opinion woul dbe a Curve over a Pearl. Because a Pearl does not fit well in manhands.

With the Release of the Bold, there was an issue where coming from a device that did not support HTML. AT&T or RIM seems to be able to remove the device, and readd it back to show the device now supports HTML. This seemed to of been an issue on other carriers accross EU and such when 4.5 came out!
