Best Case Scenario: For homes that have access to both U-Verse and DTV, maybe AT&T will let a customer trade video for bandwidth. Want faster internet speeds? Switch your TV to satellite and then you can use the freed up bandwidth that was used for video for faster internet speed.

I don't know, but I still don't think the lack of LOT8's is a big deal (in my world). Most of us are tech-savvy and have a computer of some type at hand, and, on any of those devices, I have the ability to access weather.com which has my local forecast and radar all the time, not just "on the eights". Years ago, I switched from cable to DTV and missed the LOT8 thing, but ...

The answer is that Uverse's guide is not user friendly, and does not allow you to do the simple things you have mentioned. Wow... You registered just to post that Comcast/DTV advertisement? Nice first/...

I also would like to add a cautionary note. If you have a device plugged into the Ethernet port, you will get a network error message if the box is power cycled. You would have to unplug the device from the port, reboot the receiver, then plug it back in.

That explaines it as I am not subscribed to the HD premium tier, hence the "not subscribed" msg for me. Mystery solved.

The problem with that, is that "Favorite" channels are saved on each separate receiver, where as there is only one DVR.

If she has access to a computer, she can try titantv.com, tvguide.com or even the AT&T on-line listings. On a computer, she would be able to adjust the type size to suite her needs.

So with that in mind, let me ask the more knowledgeable members this: How many more SD channels that are on AT&T are available in HD, but NOT carried in HD? I guess I'm too lazy to research it my self, but several people post about HD versions of channels they wish to have, and I was wondering how many more there are.

Ah! Ok, I mis-read that as meaning using coax to connect each box to the network.

Yes, changing their family router password/security key may keep the OP from accessing the internet at home, but it won't keep them from using the thousands of free access points that are available once away from home. Sorry to say, the only "solution" in this case is one that's not easy to come by: Trust

The data plan for the Fuze is the same as the blackjack ($30/mo unlimited), per line. The msg plans for family are $30 for up to four lines, unlimited SMS (text) and MMS to ANY phone on ANY carrier (in the US). There is no "family" data plan for the PDA phones.

I know the horse is gone, but just to close the barn door... Spb offers 30 days, no questions asked, money back guarantee. My advice to anyone else would be to buy direct from Spb Software House rather than third party. Handango does have a refund policy, so why not request a refund and see what happens?

Try doing a screen calibration by going to: Start> Settings> System> Screen> General Tab> Align Screen. Use your stylus to perform the alignment and it will greatly improve the screen response to the stylus.

It's left blank. The phone fills in 16 dots to "camouflage" any pass words. Here is a complete step-by-step setup for the Tilt: http://www.wireless.att.com/answer-center/main.jsp?t=solutionTab&solutionId=KB84444 Or just click HERE .

In the 30 day period, don't ever have a hesitation to replace a device until it's "right". As the previous poster mentioned, I also have a Tilt without any of the problems mentioned.

Your phone calling ability will be unaffected by the NoData program. It ONLY disables the data portion of the connection. With your unlocked phone, and foreign (local) service, you will be all set, and not have to worry about unexpected data connections and subsequent charges.

Installing to the card is usually the best. However, there are certain programs that MUST be installed to the phone to work correctly. Read any documentation that came with the software, and unless it specifies installing to the phone, put it on the card.

It seems kinda odd. The Moto usb AC charger will NOT work with the HTC devices, however, the car chargers do.... As far as using other than an AT&T/HTC car charger, I can say this. OTHER people on here have had issues with non-specified car chargers causing battery issues. As I recall, most of these issues were mentioned concerning the 8525. I haven't seen too much about b...

Are you running Kaiser Tweaks? If so, disable the option to "Use Clear Type in Landscape Mode". This should solve the problem.
