you could also find a cheap usb bluetooth adapter online.. i got one a few years back for about $7 shipped. more universal than the proprietary data cable, but i'm sure those are cheap on ebay with ample lighting the photos are good for almost any need. the only problem is the image stabilization... it blurs easily

going forward, make sure you change the setting for pictures and for videos to save to the sd card. since you don't have the data cable, borrow a friend's laptop that has bluetooth for 5 minutes and grab/move all your photos that way

it's not just ID3 tag, it can be file name convention as well. It's a pain but process of elimination... Add your songs in groups of 10 until you add a group that makes it bomb. Then once you fix that group, you'll know what to do to other songs. If your first group of 10 songs doesn't show, for a test, name them 0001.mp3, 0002.mp3, 0003.mp3 etc if they still don't show, ...

are your file names normal? as a test, name some of your files test1.mp3, test2.mp3, etc.. make sure the id3 tags are correct too. only put those mp3s in the music folder on your sd card.. just 1 file that is {word filter evasion} will prevent the music player from displaying most of the songs.. it's a pain, but start off slow and you'll start to figure it out.. file name...

sorry, i didn't get notification of the 10/29 post, but i got one for the last one. i don't have the usb cable yet, just a card reader in my computer, so, it's {word filter evasion} to test certain things. i know, once i got all my songs to work, i stopped fooling around with it. although, i do need to add more songs soon, so i may have new info. when i was testing i did ...

read my post above about the ID3 tags on your files. that should be the solution. i found back in the late 90s i ripped a lot of my cd collection using Audiograbber and it was most of those files I needed to upgrade the ID3 tag on for the Vu Audio player to recognize.

i had the same problem.. 28 of 80 songs were showing. i tried shortening file names, but finally found the problem ID3 tags if your songs only have ID3v1 1.0 tags the music player won't read them. 1.1 is fine. ID3v2 2.3 is fine having 1.0 and 2.3 is fine, 3 probably works too i think having none is fine having just 1.0, that's the killer what an odd quirk! for a quick chec...
