Using bill credits to pay device installments
Hello, I have recently mad multiple phone calls to customers service trying to apply the bill credits on my account towards my device installments. I've been transferred around for 2 hours which was very frustrating, only to be told either it's not possible or if I'd like a refund. I have seen here in the past that it can be done, is this this still possible or have things changed?
Also attempted speaking to an online chat rep who knew nothing just gave me a bunch of different misleading answers. This is becoming very frustrating.

Hello @Josemrivera93,
Great question about using your account credit in order to pay off the remaining installation balance! This would be an excellent option to do if you have a great amount.
If you are willing to pay off the remaining balance using this credit balance, we are able to help you with this option! This does not apply to Pay to Upgrade. If the credit balance covered the outstanding installment balance, you owe nothing. If the credit balance did not cover the outstanding balance, the remaining balance is due immediately.
In order to do this, you will need to speak directly with an agent. I will need you to please send me a private message to @ATTCares to gather details for your account and situation. Please include your full name, phone number, and account number.
I appreciate the opportunity to assist you!
