The Bill Looks Different - AT&T's New Bill Layout

We heard you and we are changing the layout of the bill! We know your time is important and we made your bill easier to understand! Check out some of the upcoming changes below! We added a video that explains the upcoming change in more detail at the bottom of this thread! 

 

 

TotalDue.png New Total Due Layout

 

 - Showing a breakdown of service

 - Colors represent specific services in bill

 - Easy To View

Past Due Balances

 

- Color coated wheel is replaced with a box

- Past due balance is highlighted in red

 

 

 

 

AccountSummary.pngAccount Summary

 

 - Amount of last bill

 - Payment received

 - Account level adjustments

 - Remaining balance

 

 

ServiceSummary.png

 

Service Summary

 

- Provides an overview of charges organized by service

- Includes amount of last bill

 

 

 

 

Other Changes:  

Bill Cycle Date changed to Statement date

 - Presents charges in advance

 - Charges incurred during month of service – like pay per view or movie charges

 

What’s Changed Section

 - Highlights changes of bill, such as changes in total amount or promotions expiring.

I'm OK with the bill layout. I'm even OK with the costs of my AT&T services. I've been a customer for many years and have never "jumped" from one carrier to another. But what I don't get is why the bill is posted as PAST DUE, with the little associated red alert, on the very day it gets posted? I wait each month for the bill to be posted in the app and I pay it the first moment I am notified of the amount due.

It may be petty, but I kind of resent being treated as though I am tardy and need to be tagged as a late payer. Nothing could be further from the truth.
