Still under contract, but can my new employer put me under his contract?

My new employer has att and I negotiated that they take care of my wireless bill.  I have roughly one year left in my contract.  Do I need to pay a early termination in order for him to add me to his contract? Or can he simply "absorb" me into his buisness contract?

You can file for a transfer of responsibility to your employer.  They will take it over and will own the number going forward.   They don't have to give the phone number back to you when you terminate employment as they will own it.

When they switch to your phone to their plan, your plan is gone. They can have whatever plan they want on your phone.

that's what i was thinking. Thanks. From what I've read, when they take over my number, it gets lumped into whatever plan they have, and my account gets closed. Is that right? or do they have to pay my plan as is?
