Reverse payment

I accidentally put in the wrong checking account number. The payment has been processed but to the wrong account. I don't even know the account. I was trying to hit back and instead I hit schmit. Please help me. I don't want money taken out of someone else account that I don't know.

Did you get the routing number correct? If so, it might be easiest to contact your bank to let them know what happened; it might be easier to fix. At any rate, at least they know what happened before the other guy calls in. 

 

AT&T can probably reverse the payment if you call, but that is not always a quick solution.
