$300 reward card scam

I was told by a representative that I would receive a $300 reward card for signing up with Direct TV in addition to the ATT services that I already had. I received a card for $200. When i called back i was told that that was the offer. I have saved the messages with the representative that said that he checked and i would receive a $300 card. When i mentioned this to the customer service phone representative, she said that they could not honor it, even though i saved the messages where it was told to me. Does this happen to others or is it just my bad luck with Direct TV. Which is why i let them go before. The promotion was the only thing that made me give them a second chance, and now i regret it already.

Same thing happened to me. Was promised a $100 Visa reward for signing up for Directv. Never received it and it's not listed in rewards on my account. At&t said I "probably didn't qualify." I was a new customer and it was the only reason I chose to switch my service. This company is nothing but bait and switch and then play dumb.

The $200 Reward Card has been refused twice at a Grocery Store. It's worthless, if it's a debit card it should act like one or act like the thievery and false promise it is. I feel like a promise has been broken. I'll switch loyalties as soon as I can to another company.
