Paying bills on the due date

I'm just wondering if a payment made on my exact due date would be considered late? I had to pay a $500 deposit when starting a new phone service contract and I can not have any late payments in order to get that deposit back. My bill is due on the 4th and I get paid early that same day so if I pay my bill on the 4th by like noon on the 4th is that considered late or will I be ok?

If it's due on the 4th and you pay in the 4th your ok.

If you have a credit card, you can set up auto pay to the card on the due date, which gives you extra time.

Having the auto pay system, I was surprised to be charged $47 for no payment when It was their system error at fault, now they don't credit  your money for their error they say that will be credited to the next bill, imagine how much money in interests they make if this is a habitual mistake to thousands of costumers. That money should be refunded inmmediately, if they are as honest as they claim.
