OVERAGE

I received a text stating not to worry about overages due to the hurricane. I haven't had wifi for several days now and will not be getting it any time soon. I have no choice in this matter. The text said not to worry about overage fees and that you will waive them. Why are they on my bill? And why am I being charged for it?

According to AT&T newsroom the period for not being charged is in October. you may want to call them and verify the text you have recieved

There is a site saying the account will be credited in 2-3 billing cycles. you may want to call them and find out whats going on

The billing of overage charges is automatic. It is too difficult to change the billing system. They will go back and remove or credit the overage charges afterward.
